≪Point of solution≫

Followings points needs be solved with the current NC bender that does not properly meet for a pre-assembled work piece.

1.Attached parts must be welded only after a work piece is machined.
2.Special tooling is needed for welding parts.
3.Hard to design an automated system
4.Intermediate stock of parts is needed.

≪Deployment of Robot Bender≫

In order to fully extract the advantages of the robot bender for machining a pre-assembled work piece,
devices are made as following in the production flow;

1.Attached parts are installed to a pre-machine straight work piece.
2.All attached sections are ant-leakage tested..
3.A completed pre-assembled work piece is machined for bending.

≪Preparatory consideration for deployment of robot bender≫

Against the current production where the bender is placed in the first production process,
the deployment of a robot bender allows its location at the last production step, and the floor layout has been totally reviewed.  

1.Special tools are devised to weld parts to a straight work piece.
　This tools are redesigned for versatile application of varied length of work piece.
2.Current benders are removed to a labo-and-test-section.

≪Advantages proved by the robot bender installed≫

Production power is further enhanced by deployment of Opton's 3D pipe profiler 「Cloudformer」 in LAN system.
Machined variations are tested and immediate fed back to the production bender for stable dimensional products
In standard production, a straight work piece is machined first before welding parts are positioned on an assembled die
