Features
1.φ15.88 sized cupper pipe is, first being pulled out of an uncoiler and flattened by a flatter machine,
forwarded to the pipe bender to mold 48 spiral turns all in automated process.
2.Thanks to the capability implemented in the Pipe Bender for molding pipes in spiral turns,
the production system still maintains manufacturing versatility simply by changing the molding tools
for different machining designs.
Process in outline
1.Cupper pipe of φ15.88 in hoop which is loaded to the uncoiler is pulled out through a tensioner.
2.The tensioner works to absorb looseness of the pipe that is caused when the pipe is fed by the uncoiler.
3.The uncoiled pipe passes through the flattening machine to be molded flat.
4.The pipe, flattened in oval design is molded in 48 spiral turns of oval design by Pipe Bender
(Machine type : S-ECO20-ST).
5.A supporting device is installed to hold an on-molding product. By this support, the molded pipe ,
with its weight growing heavier as the winding turn increases, is held in good balance throughout machining.
This support also works as the discharger of the complete work piece.
6.Upon completion of 48 spiral turns, the pipe is cut-off by the press-cutter that is mounted in rear of the
bending roll of the pipe bender. No cupper dust is generated by applying press-cut of pipe.
7.Upon cutting-off of the molded part, the supporting device keeps the part clamped till the end of discharging.
8.The discharged product is removed out of the line by an operator for further process when needed.
